German Oceanographic Museum and Ozeaneum – Hansestadt Stralsund
I had decided to make a short visit to the German Oceanographic Museum and the Ozeaneum in the Hanse city of Stralsund. On the way back to Stralsund I flew via Berlin, where the fashion trade show "Bread and Butter" and the "Berlin fashion week" were going on. I only had a ticket for the “Bread and Butter” trade show. I am looking for models who are interested in doing underwater photography. Photos of dolphins swimming in sync with people would be a useful addition to my portfolio, and are quite in demand. Unfortunately I did not find the show particularly interesting, so I travelled on quickly to Stralsund. Once there, I stayed at the Hotel Kontorhaus on the Querkanal, not far from the Ozeaneum. On the next two days I was given guided tours by Ms. Karin Hellmeier (German Oceanographic Museum) and Jens Oulwiger (Ozeaneum). Stralsund is worth a trip, and I will certainly visit it again together with the island of Rügen.
