After much consideration, I have flown again with Qatar Airways (Frankfurt - Qatar - Male) after 10 years abstinence to the Maldives. I had decided to visit Diva island (previously Ari beach and White Sand) in the Ari Atoll - now managed by the Naiade Group. I want to photograph whale sharks.

With the support of Dennis Kaandorp (base leader for Euro-Divers Diva Maldives), I could get an idea of the work of the Maldives Whale Shark Research Programme (MWSRP).
