This year, the MIPIM took place once more in Cannes, and for March 2008 I plan to take a personal look at the MIPIM trade fair 2008 and the city of Cannes. The MIPIM is the leading international real-estate forum, and a global marketplace. I am particularly interested in exhibitors such as the Arab project developer Trident International Holdings (TIH), who are building the Pentominium Tower in Dubai. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) want to attract tourists and buisness travellers from across the world, and in this way create an alternative income to oil. I certainly feel very attracted by the Emirates, and will be there again in 3 weeks ;-)
