Today I planned to do some underwater photography on the Muscat coast. A driver from the Oman Dive Center picked me up as agreed early in the morning from the Grand Hyatt Muscat, and I regretted very much only having booked the Grand Hyatt for one night ;-( The Oman Diver Center is WONDERFULLY organised, friendly and very helpful! Unfortunately I didn't enjoy the diving at all, so I quit after just one dive. Visibility underwater was very bad, and the water was as green as that in a German pond in the summer ;-) I let myself be driven to my booked hotel - Shangri-La Al Husn Hotel Muscat – earlier than planned, and photographed the Shangri-Las Hotel a little after checking in.

I like the Shangri-La Hotel a lot, but the Grand Hyatt is more to my taste! The Shangri-La Hotel in Muscat just had too many guests for me, especially now during “bunny festival – Easter” ;-)
